PERSONAL RECORD
An internal editorial collaboration assembled and written by Carson Porter. Taylor English helped in design refinement and Shuffles assembly.
Personal Record is a social editorial project assembling playlists and examining music’s relationship with corporate creative. Each issue features a different individual and requests them to assemble a playlist that represents them in some way. 3-5 songs are selected for an additional write-up and breakdown. Over time this will result in a large collection of music, stories, emotions, and people.
The main creative challenge was a scalable template in Figma that can be used for all future issues without a huge lift from the volunteer participants. After Carson had assembled the first few on his own, I jumped in to make things easier AND higher fidelity. This project will continue to evolve.
