The “Apology note” social concept was built by Ricardo Baltazar, Maya Wong, and myself as part of our Inspired Education campaign.
It is currently the #1 most saved Instagram post in @pinterest history, and the #2 most engaged. Inspired by the infamous aesthetic of influencer and celebrity “non-apologies” through a screenshot of the notes app.
We took a social-native swing, messaging that Pinterest is still the safest place on the internet—and apologizing for the other guys.
